BURGUNDY EDITOR FOR MS-WINDOWS
Copyright © by Jacques C. H. SIMON 1996-1999

Burgundy is a text editor designed to facilitate the elaboration of source files in TeX/LaTeX, in C/C++ or in Java. Its graphic interface takes different aspects following the type of the document. Executable files can work on an active document by a mouse click (after an initial setup). The text components (TeX escape sequences, key words or litterals in C/C++ and Java, comments, grouping characters) are displayed with different colors which can be modified according to your taste. In addition, a complete control of parentheses (and $ for TeX) nesting is available in real time.
It is possible to build shorthand dictionnaries to simplify the elaboration of documents including repetitive sequences of characters.
In TeX, a text including special ANSI characters (such as accented letters) can be converted to a plain ASCII text with the equivalent TeX commands by a single mouse click.
Burgundy Editor is licenced under the terms of the GNU General Public Licence.
